During the earlier updates, Hi-Rez Studios made some tweaks on the Founder's Pack bundle for their free-to-play hero shooter, Paladins. The developer proposed three tiers of the bundle namely Standard, Epic and Legendary. The three versions of the Founder's Pack contain different types of bonuses which come with their respective price tags. However, during the announcement of OB41 patch notes yesterday, it seems like Hi-Rez will be removing the two additional tiers and will only settle with the Standard Founder's Pack.
According to the Paladins Official Website, removing both of the Epic and Legendary Founder's Packs will avoid confusion to the players of the game. OB41 is expected to arrive later this week and will now only feature a one starter bundle, The Founder's Pack. It will come with the original price of $19.99 which features full access to all of the present and future Champions of the game, 10 Radiant Chests, all standard voice packs and exclusive beta skins such as Infernal Warhorse mount and Fernando's God of War Skin. In addition, Ares Fernando Skin in Smite is now included in the new founder's pack.
Unfortunately, the 50 percent off between the Epic and Legendary Founder's packs ended last Jan. 9. However, for those who want to hit on these upgrades, it will still be available until OB41 arrives. Additionally, the Festive Chest which contains several Winter-themed skins such as Evie's Merry Maker collection will be replaced with a Genie Chest next patch, so be sure to grab these bonuses while you still can.
On the other hand, it seems like OB41 is now ready to be uploaded and fans are hyped to experience this new patch which features a new map called Stone Keep and new in-game additions. Meanwhile, several players are enjoying the patch that is currently on Paladins' Public Test Server. Paladins is currently on its Open Beta stage slated for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
