Dead Or Alive 5 Last Round: Core Fighters Reaches Another Milestone

Koie Tecmo proudly announced yesterday that they were able to reach 8 million sales. Team Ninja and the other developers were able to live up to they hype and they are on the pace to surpass 10 million.

Dead or Alive 5 Last Round: Core Fighters was released two years ago. There were a lot of doubts when this game was initially introduced. However, it seems that they were able to find the right mix to excel in an over competitive genre. DOA 5 Last Round: Core Fighters also received multiple awards upon its release. They were given the title “Best Fighting Game” of Gamescom 2012 by Destructoid and another nominee from IGN for People’s Choice Award.

Dead Or Alive 5 Last Round: Core Fighters, Why They Are Considered The Best

Everybody knows that this fighting game is insane. The concept of Dead or Alive 5 Last Round is simple but very addictive. There are four main core fighters in the game, but once you were able to surpass a certain level, it will unlock other fighters. One of the best thing about this game is, they were able to import some of the most notable characters in Sega’s Virtua Fighter.

Team Ninja didn’t stop there. Since they have a full control on the characters of Virtua Fighter, they’ve adjusted some of their gameplay. Their special attacks and combos are very exciting to see. They also provided numerous setting for players who are picky with the game field.

There are four modes in Dead or Alive 5 Last Round: Core Fighters. First one is the Story mode. This complies specific missions and story mode of a certain character. Second is Fighting Mode which consists of arcade, survival, time attack, versus and offline modes. Next is the online mode, which allows players to fight in a ranked match or lobby match. Lastly, training mode, which gives players the time to train their characters before going to battle.
