Three leaks in three days.
Samsung seems to be bent on building hype for the Galaxy S8 a month or so before its official release. Either that or some third-party manufacturers are too eager to wait for Samsung's go-ahead.
The latest leaked image of the Galaxy S8 seems to be the best so far. As BGR noted, the company that leaked the new image is different from the previous two.
This time around, Olixar is the guilty party.
Olixar is also a smartphone case manufacturer like Ghostek, the one which came up with a couple of renders showing the Galaxy S8 in the past few days.
Ghostek's first render showed that the Galaxy S8 will have a curved screen and limited bezels but no home button or visible fingerprint scanner. The second one showed a case in different angles with one clearly having a provision for a headphone jack. The latter contradicts previous rumors that the Galaxy S8 will ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack similar to what Apple has done with the iPhone 7.
As for Olixar, it released three renders, one of which used a clear case highlighting the Galaxy S8 even more. The other two Olixar renders showcased black and grayish blue back panels.
Forbes noted the similarity among the Galaxy S8 handsets used in the renders. The most noticeable pattern is that the Korean conglomerate's next flagship phone will have a curved screen, slimmer bezels, and no home buttons.
The latest leak, however, shows that the flash and heart rate sensor of the Galaxy S8 is no longer on the side but just above the camera. Also indicated in the image is the presence of a USB-Type C port along with a headphone jack giving credence to the Ghostek leak from yesterday.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to be formally introduced at the Mobile World Congress which will be held on Feb. 17 to Mar. 2 this year.
