The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is said to be two months away from officially making its way to the upcoming Nintendo Switch console. It has been revealed that although the game is reminiscent of a classic Zelda, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild may have also been influenced by gaming trends present in the fifth installment of The Elder Scrolls. On the contrary, the Nintendo Switch version of the game may not run on 1080p.
Get Into The Game Faster Than Ocarina Of Time
It has been noted that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild may reach the game's version of the Hyrule Field in the first five minutes of the game. By contrast, the famous 3D Zelda game of Ocarina of Time featured Link and his abilities in the Kokiri Forest for more than an hour. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild reportedly packs wider spaces than previous Zelda games as well.
Note that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game also features climbing towers to reveal more detailed map readouts similar to Assassin's Creed and Elder Scrolls. However, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild still packs the Zelda staples such as the far-off castle, the volcano in the distance and Elder Scrolls-like nostalgic twinkling music. The game has also been praised for introducing the protagonist to the open world more quickly ala Elder Scrolls or Witcher games.
1080p resolution on the Nintendo Switch, Not Confirmed?
In other news, reports claimed that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild would roll out with a better resolution on the Nintendo Switch than on the Wii U. However, it is yet to be revealed just how far the Switch version can go. On the other hand, it is believed that the Wii U version of the game would have 720p resolution.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the Nintendo Switch is yet to be confirmed at 1080p resolution. However, producer Eiji Aonuma reportedly revealed that faster loading times would be a gaming trend. Finally, the game is slated to make its way to the console on Mar. 3, 2017.
