To make the Ark: Survival Evolved highly interesting, players are in the process of creating mods despite the fact that its developers have already put a bunch of great contents for the past few months, just like the inclusion of dragons into the game.
Recently, a modder known as Mystic Academy was able to give the fans of Ark: Survival Evolved a chance to download and install a mod that is called Pokemon Evolved. This mod allows the change of creatures in the game into Pokemon that can be hunted down.
This mod that was made by Mystic Academy is now one of the famous fan-made creations for the Ark: Survival Evolved. Fortunately, this claim was already lifted, and now fans can download the mod for the action-adventure-filled game again. Game outlet PC Gamer said that Mystic Academy thought that the original DMCA complaint was from another modder who has also created his version of a Pokemon-themed mod for ARK: Survival Evolved. If this is actually true, then Nintendo and The Pokemon Company are not directly involved in the petition to pull out the mod.
Whoever might be the source for the notice for taking down the mod, it was not able to prevent fans from downloading and applying Mystic Academy's mod for the ARK: Survival Evolved, according to Game Rant. The mod was able to replace all of the dinosaurs in the game with around 30 different types of Pokemon, like Alakazam and Rapidash.
Mystic Academy said that all of the models and animations that he used for the mod were actually from Pokemon X/Y. He also said that he only made a few changes only when it is needed so that the mod can properly work. Since this is the case, it is not surprising anymore that the mod has a DMCA complaint.
