Destiny 2 Rumors: Upcoming Sequel Features Small Narrative Storyline; Update Details To Be Announced Soon?

Bungie, the game developer of Destiny 2 has teased its fans regarding the game's upcoming in-game events for 2017. The Live Stream team, according to the developer, has not yet finished the additional features that is related with the game's upcoming event. But it gave some hints about its release date this year.

The Video Game Was Not Received Well At First

Destiny did not receive critical and commercial success when it was launched by Bungie in Sept., 2014. However, gamers soon found that it has great features for a first-person-shooter video game. It now has an avid fan base because of its focus on multi-player shooting gameplay.

But other gamers of Destiny 2 found that it is deficient in providing a solid single-player gameplay. Bungie subsequently released several expansions which tried to correct this problem. Now, the game developer is about to roll out some more updates that will tweak the storyline of Destiny 2.

There Will Be An Announcement About Destiny 2 In The Upcoming Event

The game developer also said that the upcoming "Crimson Days" event will offer things that most fans of the game will be expecting. They are hard at work right now to ensure that the fans will not be disappointed. The company also hinted that there might be an announcement regarding Destiny 2 at the upcoming event.

Bungie Is Looking For People To Take Care Of The Narratives

Bungie also seems set in providing solution to the complaint of gamers about the way storytelling and narrative is handled in the video game. The game developer said that it is trying to fix that problem in the upcoming Destiny 2. Based on the job listing that the developer has posted, it seems that it is looking to hire people to write the narrative of the video game.

One of the job postings is for a Narrative Director for the developer's major releases. Another job posting is for a Narrative Director for smaller, but more frequent updates that come between larger expansion updates. Fans should be happy with this news since it indicates that Bungie is intent on providing a solution to their complaints.
