A Nokia Lumia 920 user tweeted "@NokiaCareUS having some network connectivity issues with my 920 after latest firmware update. Any fixes coming?"
In response, the Nokia Care US tweeted "@mikemacias We're aware & update has been temporarily paused. New update will be available in the near future. We'll keep you posted. ^RS"
The update is meant to fix bugs and brings several enhancements and improvements to the Lumia 920. The 1308 software update for the Lumia 920 is supposed to bring a storage fix option, the ability to change the color intensity of the display, performance and stability improvements, especially to the 8.7-megapixel camera which carries Carl Zeiss optics. Nokia rolled out the firmware update after receiving feedback from field testing.
"Update improves proximity sensor parameters, improved automatic display brightness adjustment & performance improvements," notes Nokia Care US.
The Finnish company has also rolled out the 1308 software update to some countries in Europe but there are no reported issues with the update.
Nokia has not confirmed when a software release will be issued to fix the connectivity problem caused by installing the 1308 software update.
Smartphones have become a very important part of our lives and many Lumia 920 customers suffering with the connectivity trouble may find it very difficult if they are facing issues with their smartphones.
We will have to wait until Nokia releases a software fix to fix the software update.
