Shortly after the 2018 Mercedes Benz GLA made its debut at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show, the 2020 model has been spotted doing some tests on the streets. Apparently, the automaker is not wasting any time in bringing its loyal customers the new model. Here's what the new one is all about.
2020 Mercedes Benz GLA: Under The Camouflage
Like any test mules, the 2020 Mercedes Benz GLA was caught doing some tests along with the new model GLA that has just made its debut. Obviously, not much has been revealed given the fact that the 2020 Mercedes Benz is still covered. However, there are some obvious points that cannot be wrapped under the camouflage. According to Motor Authority, the 2020 Mercedes Benz GLA will be longer as compared to the newly launched model. In addition, people are hoping for it to get a more rugged design because the current model looks more like a hatchback rather than an SUV as reported.
2020 Mercedes Benz GLA: Future Powertrain
It appears that fans and enthusiasts have more to look forward to than just new looks for the 2020 Mercedes Benz GLA. According to report from Auto Evolution, the same powertrain will be used by the 2020 Mercedes Benz GLA45 but it will have more than 400 horsepower when it arrives in the market. The current powertrain is a 2.0-liter inline-4 engine that delivers a meaty 375 horsepower. While this is already powerful enough, an additional power upgrade will most certainly be welcome among buyers.
2020 Mercedes Benz GLA: Expected Arrival
Reports state that the 2020 Mercedes Benz GLA is to make its debut sometime in 2019. Given the fact that 2020 is already affixed to the Mercedes Benz GLA, it will be introduced as the model that the year implies. As far as the future price is concerned, there are no details about it yet as it is still too early to put a price tag on it.
