iPhone 8 Latest Leak: With Apple Pencil, Active Screen Area And Long-range Wireless Charging

A set of leaked images shown that it seems that Apple is indeed going to follow the Samsung way as far as the iPhone 8 could. Allegedly the new set of images can confirm two features that have been speculating for quite some time now. With the introduction of the new edge-to-edge display screen, the Apple iPhone 8 will also be ditching the physical home button. In the photos, the phone has lost the feature on which the Touch ID has been placed for quite some time now. On the other hand, this new design will give the new 2017 iPhones a larger display screen and much thinner bezels, mainly on the bottom side.

The Upcoming iPhone 8 Is Set To Be A Major Overhaul Of The Current Models

Apple is more likely to unveil at least three new iPhone models later this year. First among these could be a 5.8-inch model to feature an OLED display with an "active screen area" of between 5.1 and 5.2-inches. This model could come with a camera and Touch ID that integrates with the screen and includes support for long-range wireless charging, one answer to the consistent issue of low battery life. Another option is to use a "quick charge" circuitry in which a battery can receive a significant level of charge in a much shorter period of time than is regularly expected. Apple is speculated to be working on quick charge as well. In addition, a recent patent application suggests that the Apple Pencil could find itself joined into one or more iPhone 8 models. An interview, Tim Cook recently seemed to hint at this when he explained, "If you can imagine the things that can be created on an iPhone or an iPad with the Apple pencil, it's really unbelievable."

The Upcoming iPhone 8 Features And What You Should Know

According to a report, the forthcoming iPhone 8 will come in Silver, Gold, Rose Gold and with new Deep Blue color. Moreover, the upcoming iPhone is said to feature "significant innovations" such as a full-glass OLED screen, new and upgraded haptic feedback features and numerous major specs improvements in camera as well as the processors.
