CSGO: The Comeback Of Old Fnatic? JW And Flusha Plan To Rejoin Former Fnatic Teammates

It's safe to say that the 2015-2016 Fnatic is arguably one of the most successful CS:GO teams in the world, having a record-breaking run of six consecutive LAN titles and back-to-back Major championship titles. Following the roster's split way back in August due to Olofmeister's injury and the temporary removal of KRiMZ, the iconic "Old Fnatic" is rumored to take the spotlight once again after the plans of JW and Flusha to reform the team have surfaced in the internet.

CSGO: Comeback of Old Fnatic

As reported by Slightshot, sources close to JW and Flusha have revealed the plans of the pro players to reform the old Fnatic right after the ELEAGUE Major - regardless of the results. This decision is said to be a player-led move which means that buyouts wouldn't be necessary (but can still happen). Either way, according to multiple sources, the exchange will happen "one way or another."

If this move materializes, what's likely to happen is that the two will reform the old Fnatic by replacing Joakim "disco doplan" Gidetun and Simon "twist" Eliasson. This scenario will brought about the remake of the 2015 Fnatic that once taken the CS:GO spotlight for months without fail. As mentioned earlier, the 2015-2016 Fnatic had a stellar performance in the past thanks to the godly teamwork and coordination amongst its members.

Will it Happen?

Now, before we jump into conclusion, Slingshot has contacted Fnatic's management regarding the rumors and if the organization is indeed planning for a player exchange anytime soon which was then given a respond by Patrick "cArn" Sattermon, Fnatic's COO, saying: "We are at this point of time not set for any transfers post major. We have a very open dialogue internally about our team's future and we are currently super excited and focused on the incoming ELEAGUE Major to where our team and management are heading (Wednesday)."

The COO clearly denies the rumors but it didn't wither down the hype that's currently building from the fans as seen on the Reddit thread here. It's safe to say that many fans are hoping for the reformation of the old Fnatic and to once again show their prowess and dominance in the competitive scene.
