Motorola RAZR HD, RAZR M, And Atrix HD Bootloader Unlock Tool & Instructions

One of the best things about Android is the ability to install custom ROMs on your smartphones or tablets. If you're not familiar with custom ROMs, here are some of the benefits of installing a custom ROM: You'll be able to select from many custom ROMs already available for your Android device that will add and remove features your device came with. You can pick out a custom ROM for your device that has the features you want, not the features the manufacture or carrier has imposed on you. This new tool will make it easy to achieve unlocking your device in a few simple steps.

Droid Life has put together a very easy-to-follow, step-by-step guide that will allow you to unlock a Verizon DROID RAZR HD, RAZR MAXX HD, RAZR M or Atrix HD. As with all unlocks, you risk voiding your device's warranty. Your device must be rooted before you use this tool. RAZR HD users running Android 4.1.2 unfortunately will have to wait this one out, as there hasn't been a root tool released for the smartphone running Android 4.1.2.

Special thanks to Droid Life for putting these instructions together:
