The Gossip Game Cast Members Sharon Carpenter, JasFly Square Off On Twitter

With all the on-camera drama that reality TV has to offer, one thing viewers can also expect is the off-camera drama that often comes along with it. VH1 premiered its latest reality TV show, The Gossip Game just last week and it has already seen some off-screen drama.

The Gossip Game cast members Sharon Carpenter and JasFly traded words on the social media site Twitter about a recent interview Carpenter had. Jasfly wasn't keen on some comments Carpenter made during the interview and took to Twitter to address the matter.

During an interview, Carpenter was asked her opinion about fellow cast members of The Gossip Game. As CocoaFab reports, "I think she often takes things I say the wrong way and doesn't necessarily want to admit that I'm further along in my journalism career than she is," Carpenter said.

To this, JasFly reached out to Carpenter via Twitter: "To assume you're 'farther along' means that our end goals are the same OR that you know what my end goal even is. We've taken two VERY different journeys. While you we're on TV, I was developing TV. Two very diff skill sets," Jasfly said in a series of tweets on her Twitter account.

In response, "I'd love 2 know the shows @JasFly was apparently developing while I was only on TV. As the co-creator of this 1 guess the roles switched," @sharoncarpenter said.

The two castmates proceeded to go back and forth with each other:

"@sharoncarpenter the prod co I worked for had a deal w/CBS then I went to MTV then CBS. What happened to doing homework 'Damn Good Journo'? @Jasfly tweeted.

"@JasFly you told me to Google u but very little came up. But wait, you don't know real journalists go straight to the source when they can? @sharoncarpenter replied back.

Viewers of The Gossip Game may witness more off-screen drama as the season continues. Cast members of The Gossip Game may say things about or toward one another off-camera that may not be taken well. One thing is for sure, viewers will be tuned in to VH1 Monday nights at 9PM. VH1 reported that the show drew in nearly one million viewers when it premiered on April 1.
