Koei Tecmo has confirmed yet again more video games to head on to the new up and coming Nintendo Switch that has been making the headlines at the start of the year. Two of its video games namely "Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence" and "Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII" have been announced to get their respective Nintendo Switch versions. The announcement came along with the release of the video trailers of the two said games.
"Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence" is the fourteenth installment to the "Nobunaga's Ambition" video game series and is based on a grand historical strategy video game that is paired with a role-playing simulation. The said video game, just like all the previous titles, is set in the early years of wars in Japan wherein players get to choose from four scenarios of campaigns. "Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence" was first released in 2013 for three different gaming platforms and eventually headed on to PlayStation Vita in May 2015.
The trailer for "Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence" featured the in-game characters as well as the challenging gameplay mechanics that requires thinking up of strategies to ensure victories. The Nintendo Switch version of the said game will include more new features that include a new officer creation mode through the use of the console's motion IR camera. The game will also be launched with the "Flowers Blooming in Ii" scenario, which is a downloadable content featuring Ii Naotara. "Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence" will be out on Nintendo Switch in Japan on the same date of the console's release.
On the other hand, "Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII", another historical strategy video game will be released for Nintendo Switch in Japan on March 30. The said video game is the thirteenth main installment in the game's series and is one of the most popular and highly acclaimed video games In Japan. This game is actually quite recent as it was just released last year on PlayStation 3 and 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
"Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII" is a game wherein players get to play traditional campaigns as well as a hero mode that is sort of an in-depth tutorial mode, giving players tips and teaching them on how the gameplay mechanics works. The trailer for "Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII" reveals the exquisite graphic animation of the game, focusing on the main characters and introducing a gameplay, which is more up close and personal when it comes to its battles and scenarios.
