It appears that Pokemon is gearing up for a new tournament for all its Pokemon Sun and Moon fans. The game developer has announced that it is conducting a new competition for its avid fans. An invitation was officially offered to the fans recently.
Registration For The Competition Is Now Going On
The Pokemon Sun and Moon invitation was posted in the official twitter page of the video game. It asked the fans if they have already registered for the Alola Friendly Online Competition. If they haven't yet, the invitation indicated that fans can still register but only until Jan. 26, 2017.
This friendly competition initiated by Pokemon Sun and Moon will start on Jan. 27, 2017 and will last up to Jan. 29, 2017. To join in, a player only needs to log in to his account using the Pokemon Global Link homepage. This tournament is a Single Battle competition and has a set of special rules.
Players Can Use All Currently Avialable Pokemon Except For Some
One of the rules allows players to use all currently available Pokemon listed in the Alola Pokedex, except Special Pokemon. Another rule also say that a player will need a Pokemon Trainer Club account, his own Pokemon Sun or Pokemon Moon video game and a "Battle Team of eligible Pokemon." A bonus reward of 50 Battle Points will be awarded to those who will participate in the Pokemon Sun and Moon competition.
There's A Limit To The Pokemon Sun And Moon Friendly Competition
The Pokemon Sun and Moon Alola friendly online competition will have a limit of 15 battles per day. Perhaps that means the number of competition a player can do per day. There are a lot of Pokemon a player can use except the banned Pokemon. The list of banned Pokemon includes Magearna, Zygarde, Necrozma, Cosmog, Lunala, Solgaleo and Cosmoem.
The Pokemon Sun and Moon friendly tournament also banned a number of moves. These include Hyperspace Fury, Doom Desire, Fusion Flare, Shadow Force, Techno Blast, and many more. Incidentally, the Mega Stones are items that can't be used in the competition.
