Dragon Quest VIII Releases New Trailer for Nintendo 3DS Launch; Massive Improvements From DQ VII

A teaser trailer of the new version of Dragon Quest VIII has just been released. It shows a bird's eye view of the video game with its main characters and the villains as well. The teaser also gave some hints about the story plot of the video game. From the looks of it, this video game could become a hit to the fans.

The actual title of the video game is Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King. It is currently available in America and in Europe for the Nintendo 3DS. With the launch trailer, Nintendo, its game developer, has issued a statement regarding the video game.

This Is The Basic Story Of Dragon Quest VIII

The statement includes an explanation of the basic story of Dragon Quest VIII. It said that the story starts when a jester steals the King's scepter. The jester also uses his magic powers to transform the king into a troll. But that's not all.

He also turned the Princess into a horse, and all the castle residents into plants. But there is someone, a castle guard, who is able to escape the effects of his magic power. And to this guard is left the duty and honor of stepping up to save the Kingdom he is sworn to protect.

The Hero Will Be Facing A Lot Of Challenges

The player steps into the shoes of this guard in Dragon Quest VIII. With this video game, he will be faced with a lot of enemies, use all the tools and armaments he can access to restore the kingdom, the king, the princess and its citizens to their former selves. The launch trailer gives a glimpse of his adventure.

Huge Changes Were Implemented In The Video Game

The game developer claims that they have implemented massive changes in Dragon Quest VIII. A reviewer said that overall, this new version contains the great things in the series. Its design, world and battling has improved and its story and characters more compelling than the previous ones. And it has more of that RPG feel because of its Skill Points system.
