Clearly, Square Enix is not slowing down this year either with all the new announcements they have been making. With a “Final Fantasy VII” remake in the works, a new role-playing video game for Nintendo Switch releasing soon, and many more. This time they have announced that they are developing a new mobile game application. But this mobile game is actually geared towards female gamers.
Square Enix has just announced that it is working on its first mobile game that is designed to attract female users. The announcement was paired with a photo featuring 12 silhouettes on a picturesque background, which can most possibly be a dozen of good-looking animated men with different personalities to cater to various tastes and ideal types of women. Aside from the teaser, the information revealed was also only limited to the title of the up and coming mobile game, which is “KimiKiri: Kimi to Kiri no Labyrinth”, or translated as “You and The Labyrinth of the Mist.”
KimiKiri: Kimi to Kiri no Labyrinth” is set to be released on Android and iOS and will also adapt a virtual reality (VR) compatibility feature. So far, those are the only details that Square Enix has shared with fans and hopefully soon they will be releasing more updates on the anticipated game. They did state in the announcement that the full website will be opened in a few days so fans are expecting a teaser on the gameplay and characters.
Along with the said mobile application in development, Square Enix is also working on releasing few more mobile game titles this year, which includes, “Final Fantasy Type-0 Online”, “King’s Knight: Wrath of the Dark Dragon”, “Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia”, and “Bravely Default: Fairy’s Effect”. The upcoming mobile game, “King’s Knight: Wrath of the Dark Dragon” was announced in September 2016 and is the very same mobile game that was incorporated in “Final Fantasy XV. The main in-game characters, Prompto and Noctis are very fond of playing this said game.
