HTC is launching its flagship HTC One smartphone nationwide on April 19. The phone will retail at AT&T, Sprint and Best Buy at launch. T-Mobile will have the HTC One available for purchase later this spring.
The HTC One Live Experience Tour is part of the marketing campaign designed to let customers experience the new smartphone directly. The HTC One Live Experience Tour sets up events to showcase the innovations of the new HTC One smartphone. HTC BlinkFeed, HTC Zoe and HTC BoomSound are new HTC Sense features that set a new standard, separating the HTC One from other smartphones.
The HTC One Live Experience tour is hitting 11 major U.S. cities across the nation. HTC opened pop-up listening booths, called HTC BoomSound Lounges in six major cities. The BoomSound Lounges will let people have firsthand experience with the HTC One's front facing stereo speakers with Beats Audio integration.
The BoomSound Lounges are located at Columbus Circle in New York, Embarcadero Plaza in San Francisco, Hollywood and Highland in Los Angeles, Wrigleyville in Chicago, Franklin Square in Philadelphia and Perimeter Mall in Atlanta.
"We're establishing the U.S. brand identity for the new HTC One as an innovative, stunning product with a full-metal design and a clear difference in experiences from any previous, or recently announced smartphone," Erin McGee, HTC's vice president of marketing for North America, said.
As part of the BoomSound Lounges campaign, HTC is also offering exclusive concerts produced by Live Nation. A limited audience of 1,000 fans will get to see live performances by Pharrell in New York, Grouplove in Chicago and Manchester Orchestra in Los Angeles.
Beginning April 19, the Boomsound Lounges will become listening and viewing locations of the live concerts.
