2017 Buick Envision: Powertrain Update
According to report, the 2017 Buick Envision has two powertrain options. One is a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter inline-4 engine that delivers 197 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque. The other is a 2.0-liter turbo that produces 252 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Accordingly, these powertrains are matched with a six-speed automatic transmission that transfers the power through the front wheels as its standard drivetrain. However, it was mentioned that buyers also have the option to go for an all-wheel drive (AWD) configuration. In addition, the new model has been reported to be more focused in bringing more driving comfort rather than more excitement.
2017 Buick Envision: New Features
It was reported that the 2017 Buick Envision has also received technology updates. The 2017 Buick Envision has a new 8-inch IntelliLink screen along with a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot and OnStar 4G LTE. In addition, the 2017 Buick Envision now supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The steering wheel has also been updated with thumb-operated switches that allow the driver to easily operate the IntelliLink infotainment system.

Reports state that the design of the 2017 Buick Envision has also been refreshed. Apparently, the whole vehicle has been basically redesigned. This resulted to a more luxurious SUV with better driving performance. "The Envision represents a compromise-free design that enabled the development team to do the things luxury customers appreciate. Our attention to detail yielded tremendous strength and stiffness of the platform, which is evident in exceptional ride and handling characteristics," said Judy Brennan, Chief Engineer of Buick.
2017 Buick Envision: Good Price
The 2017 Buick Envision has a base price of $36,795 and $38,654 for the base trim with front wheel drive (FWD) setting and AWD respectively as reported. The price goes higher as buyers move up to upper trims.
