The Ricoh Imaging Americas Corporation unveiled the new super compact DSLR designed camera, which features the Pentax K-3 series. The Pentax KP is a highly portable DSLR with controls that offers to capture outstanding images.
The new camera is packed with many advanced capabilities and captured casual snapshots to extreme outdoor photography such as while mountain climbing, rock trekking, or surfing because the camera is Weatherproof. It also has a highly sensitive APS-C CMOS sensor and Shake Reduction II (SR II), which helps to manage five-axis image stabilization.
The Ricoh's tiny DSLR has a 24-megapixel CMOS sensor, which helps shooting in extremely low-light conditions. The ISP 819200 sensitivity helps in making it possible for the photographer to shoot at night. It features an electronic shutter option in live-view captures images in a high-speed shooting and it can flick at 1/24,000 second.
The newest camera snaps at 27 autofocus points and a top speed of seven images per second. The camera expands its large aperture lenses to achieve a shallow depth of field on a bright light, as reported on the Verge.
The Well-Designed DSLR Compact Body
The Pentax KP is slimmer and sleeker than previous "Pentax SLRs." The tiny DSLR measures 4.0 inches in height, 5.2 inches width, and has a dimension of 3.0 inches. It weighs 1.5 pounds without a lens. The maximum depth of the tiny DSLR is depicted by a protruding lens mount.
According to the PC Magazine, it is well-designed for optimal comfort and handling. The camera has been optimized for delivering perfect images even in the most challenging conditions being exteriorly dustproof and weatherproof. It can snap images on frigid temperatures as low as 14 degrees Fahrenheit.

The Pentax KP integrates additional technologies and ease-of-use specifications. The Pentax technology produces color-accurate subjects with the highest resolution. It can capture an image in single-pixel increments and it has the ability to combined four separate images into a high-definition single image.
The tiny DSLR expanded the limits of handheld shooting. The camera has a five-axis mechanism Shake Reduction, optional accessory GPS module and a Pixel Shift Resolution. Its 3-inch vertical-tilt LCD monitor captures high and low angle shooting.
The Pentax KP offers a grip replacement system, which helps photographers find the angle on their preference of grip. The tiny Pentax DSLR will be available on the market on Feb. 25 and it will cost $1,099.95.
