The Moogle Chocobo Carnival event for "Final Fantasy XV" has gotten Altissia covered up in pink and yellow confetti and all sort of festive decorations. There are actually so much going on that it would drive anywone crazy, truly the carnival it should be. One of the things to look out for in the said in-game carnival are the quests that are scattered all around Altissia.
These quests will not be activated unless Noctis finds them or reads certain bulletin posts. One of the challenging and mind boggling side quests are the photo challenges that gives Choco-Mog Medallions in exchange. Now, these photo challenges vary in difficulty since there are some that are easy to find while some are rather in the most unlikely places.
There are six photo challenges all in all during the said Moogle Chocobo Carnival and most of it requires taking photos of strangers and certain angles. Each bulletin post usually has three photo challenges in it. But the most challenging ones are taking photos of the non-playing characters or supporting characters from the main story of "Final Fantasy XV" or even the ones that blend in with the environment that they are too hard to spot.
For the Central Altissia Photo Challenge, the white cat can be found in the hallway just beside the bridge, which is near the Furgola Fishing Spot. The silver tabby cat with the flower vase is just near the poster for this photo challenge and they are at the red building. Now, to find Aranea, go to the Square Enix Café and look up to find her standing on a tall domed tower.
The Palsino Street Photo Challenge wants Noctis to take a photo of the Kenny Crow mascot and of the fat guy in Lestallum named Vyv. Kenny Crow can be found easily as he usually dances around in the middle of the street, which is near a bridge. Vyv, on the other hand, is in that hidden cafeteria (or just a simple coffee place) where there are Justice Monster V arcade games lying around and it also beside a gondola spot. Vyv is just standing there by the entry way of the said solemn eatery.
The Listro Park Photo Challenge wants Noctis to take photos of the bird statue, the frog-loving professor, Sania, and another Kenny Crow mascot. The bird statue in the middle of the plaza is pretty easy since Noctis just need to find the right angle. But finding Sania is quite tricky since she's actually standing on the balcony just near the huge bird statue. The Kenny Crow mascot sits at one of the red benches in the plaza and he only does at night.
The Western Altissia Photo Challenge requires four photos that include the male attendee for the Chocobo races, the musicians playing in Port West Station, a seagull, and an armored soldier with a cat. The male attendee and the musicians can be easily spotted in the city but the seagull, if paid attention to the details, is by the pier where Noctis and the rest of the gang entered. The armored soldier is found on the second floor of the only accessible hotel in Altissia.
The Southern Altissia Photo Challenge wants Noctis to find the sneaky Gentiana, the female attendee with the souvenir photo stand, and the mime. The mime and the female attendees can be easily found by just roaming around Altissia. But Gentiana is standing on a balcony with a view of the waters but she can only be spotted if Noctis stands on one of the bridges in Southern Altissia.
The Square Enix Café Photo Challenge is easy since the jewel-crazy Dino can be found chatting away with some of the diners in the said café. The huge Chocobo and Moogle stuff toys are found in the window display of the store where Luna's wedding dress was originally placed. The carnival employee is behind the tall box, hiding in the place that leads towards the venue for A Lost Painting hunting quest.
