It was an exciting week in Apple news and rumors. Apple is reportedly nearing an agreement with record labels to launch its iRadio streaming music service. Meanwhile, new leaked images of the iPad 5 betray curvier corners and a thinner bezel.
Apple iRadio
Apple is reportedly close to striking a deal with Warner Music and Universal Music Group to launch a streaming radio service called iRadio. Speculation surrounding Apple iRadio has swirled around the interwebs for years, but The Verge is reporting that a deal with the two labels is practically done.
Apple iRadio is an unofficial name created chiefly by the media, and is expected to launch later this year and will be similar to Pandora in many regards.
Apple iPad 5
Leaked photos of the iPad 5 casing initially leaked to French blog Nowhereelse and were quickly picked up by Engadget. The photos show what appears to be an iPad 5 case handled by someone wearing plastic gloves similar to the ones worn by Foxconn workers. This is obviously far from definitive proof, since anybody can buy plastic gloves and the iPad 5 case could be a fake.
According to the leaked iPad 5 photos, Apple's new tablet will have a thinner bezel and could possibly be smaller than the iPad 4.

Techtree speculates that given the fact that the photos only show the alleged iPad's front panel, it may well be a Chinese clone, but at this point, there really isn't enough to go on to make a determination one way or the other.
