Morrowind Adds New Player Class, PvP Mode In The Elder Scrolls Online

The Morrowind expansion will add more hours of gameplay and additional map in The Elder Scrolls Online. The additional content will add a new player class and game modes.

About Morrowind Expansion

TES players can immediately jump in the upcoming expansion without having to complete any quest. The new map is located in the Vvardenfell Island where players will assist in healing Vivec. This deity needs all the help he can get to save Tamriel from annihilation. There have been earlier reports that the Island is the next map expansion for the online game.

TES Online developer ZeniMax Studios said that the expansion shares the same map of The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind. The storyline takes place seven centuries before the TES 3. Player of the previous installment will once again step foot on the Seyda Neen dock, the Ashlands and forests overrun with mushrooms. Interestingly, Vivec City is still being built under this time period.

New Players Class, Game Mode

The additional content will bring The Warden which is a new player class to the game. This new playable character is accompanied by a big War Bear. The developer is also adding a new PvP mode called Battlegrounds. The upcoming feature will have three teams composed of four players each. These opposing teams will be required to fight a three-way battle set in an "arena-like" stage. A video preview of the upcoming expansion is available here.
