Windows 8.1 Blue Build 9369 In Action: What To Expect From The Upcoming OS (Video)

Rumors of Microsoft's next operating system have been circling for a while and now a video has leaked showing Microsoft 8.1 (a.k.a Windows Blue) in action.

The leaked video shows Windows 8.1 build 9369 at work and shows different features expected to be in the operating system.

The video shows the first glimpse of the new SkyDrive integration with Windows 8. From the video it appears that Windows 8.1 will feature a Files app that lets you see your file system, as well as your SkyDrive storage.

Those users who want the convenience of using the mouse can now access the Apps List by clicking a button at the bottom of the screen. When you open the Apps List it will seem to slide from the bottom of the screen. Clicking the App List button again will close it and slide the Start Screen back into focus. This feature means better mouse support in Windows 8.1.

If the leaked video is legit, then you can see your Apps sorted by the most used, the date it was installed and the name of the app. The Most Used feature sorts your App List to show you the most-used apps, followed by the moderately used apps and then your least-used apps.

The video shows that you will be able to type and see the Search Charm on the right-hand side of the Start Screen without being taken to the search result page automatically, which means you can search for something while keeping the Start Screen open.

You will also have a new option to connect to a wireless display, new touchpad options in PC Settings, more Ease of Access settings and a "Save Files to SkyDrive by default" setting.

In Windows 8.1, you will be able to sync more settings from the PC setting app. Syncing now includes Start Screen layout, Browser settings, mouse settings and file explorer settings.

Windows 8.1 is still in development and features may change in the final version.
