Actress Gabrielle Union has just revealed about her entry to the health and beauty products world. She is reportedly launching her own haircare line which she called Flawless by Gabrielle Union. The products under her new company will be available starting March 1 and reports claim that the introductory prices are quite economical.
Gabrielle Union is following the footsteps of actresses who are entering the business world as she is reportedly opening her first company. The Flawless by Gabrielle Union is set to open to the public on March 1 with a 10-piece collection of haircare products. The actress announced about her new venture on Jan. 31.
The 44-year-old actress will serve as the owner of Flawless and is also in charge of the brand development, creative direction, marketing and product formulation. Her products, according to the LA Times will cost from $19 to $29, and will be available online at the flawlesshair.com website. Gabrielle Union's first collection will include blow dry creams, moisturizing shampoo, shine spray, smoothing conditioner, and several others.
"For me - having skin in the game - it deepens the connection," Gabrielle Union told Women's Wear Daily. "I want to make sure that it's right for me, for my family, for my friends, and for every person with textured hair," she added. Union reportedly has gone through her own hair problems where she was often told to have her hair appropriately done. Her journey to self-acceptance is said to be her inspiration in putting up her own haircare business.
Meanwhile, Flawless CEO Vincent Davis confirmed in a press release that Union has indeed been heavily involved in developing the products. He went a little further into the product details revealing that all goods feature a mix of marula, argan, and avocado oils. Furthermore, he said that the products to be released by the company will focus on resolving issues on dryness, split ends, damage, and frizz. The haircare products of Flawless by Gabrielle Union will also be widely available on Ulta Beauty stores and online shops in the following month.
