Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Costs $49 On Amazon

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 isn't expected to be announced until sometime in September and its price surely won't even be remotely close to the $49.99 Amazon is currently charging for the Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Judging by the iTech Post's Galaxy Note 2 review unit, it's one very impressive device, especially for only $49.99.

The Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 2 features a 5.5-inch 267 ppi (pixels per inch) 1280 x 720 HD Super AMOLED Plus display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (upgradable out of the box to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean), 1.6 GHz Samsung Exynos Quad-core processor, 16GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera with flash and HD recording, 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera, Enhanced S Pen, 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC (near field communications), built-in mobile hotspot functionality, GPS, microSD card slot with support for up to 64GB cards and a 3,100 mAh battery.

One of the best features of the Galaxy Note 2 is its S Pen, which allows you to write on the device in a more natural way than pecking away at a virtual keyboard. It also has unique features that allow you to preview emails and more, by holding the S Pen above the screen of the Note 2. Samsung has already promised it will be releasing a software update that will enable features found on the Galaxy S4, so you can be sure your device will be receiving regular updates.

Amazon is currently offering the Titanium Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for $49.99 when signing a new two-year contract. It's currently in stock and will ship within 24 hours, and Amazon is sweetening the deal by offering free two-day shipping.
