Nokia has finally revealed its first 2017 Android phone, which marks its return to the mainstream mobile market. This one's available now, but only in China. Favorably, there are more new Nokia Android phones to come and we will expect them at MWC 2017 that will be sold in other regions. Let's say, for example, Qualcomm was rumored to have shown the upcoming Nokia 8 at CES, while a slimmed-down Nokia Heart and flagship Nokia P1 are expected for MWC. This Nokia 6 is simply a taster.
Once the biggest and best-known mobile phone manufacturer, following some rough competitions from iPhone and Android, Nokia in 2011 made the inevitable mistake of agreeing to produce only Windows phones. Way back in 2014, it packed up its mobile phone game and sold its business to Microsoft. Fast forward to 2017, and with Android onboard, this might be Nokia's grand comeback that we've been waiting to see.
