It has been months since the Android Nougat was first launched. With that said, fans should have seen the new Android update roll out to more smartphones as time pass by. Android Nougat Update For Samsung Phones
The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge has already started getting the Nougat update. In fact, there is already a new update that has been released for the Edge variant to bring in minor fixes and improvements. So far, other Nougat-eligible Samsung phones are still awaiting the update and while the wait is kind of long, those phones will sure to get their own update as soon as it's ready. In fact, even the Galaxy A5 from 2014 is also eligible for the update and as per a GSM Arena report, this phone's update will be rolled out this month for Australian carrier Optus subscribers.
Android Nougat Update For HTC
HTC isn't getting behind in releasing Nougat to its devices. There may be some issues concerning the HTC 10's Nougat update but right now, a different HTC smartphone is getting updated. Apparently, the One M9 has started receiving the update in South Africa, Turkey and Europe. The same update has hit the US last December. The fate of HTC, 10 on the other hand, is still uncertain. This phone has started receiving the Nougat update but the rollout was soon halted. The same process got repeated with the phone's Nougat rollout still paused at this moment.

Some of the eligible Motorola phones have also started getting the Nougat update. It's worth noting that the Moto Z family in a number of European countries has already started getting the rollout. Other countries may still have troubles with the Nougat rollout but hopefully, things get fixed in no time.
