Resident Evil 7 Tips: How to Craft Useful Items Using Chem Fluid Reagents

Resident Evil 7 players can concoct various useful items using the Chem Fluid as the main ingredient. Players will need to prioritize their needs since the fluid is scarce at the start.

Resident Evil 7 Crafting System

Resident Evil 7 developer Capcom introduced the crafting system to the game. These crafting recipes are easy to prepare provided players can find the time while dodging the various deadly enemies.

Just Add Chem Fluid

Most if not all crafting recipes require the use of Chem Fluid Reagents. Crafting handgun bullets will require that stuff including gunpowder. Add some herbs and players will have their First Aid Meds. Adding Solid Fuel instead will result to Burner Fuel. Combine the Chem Fluid and Supplements and Ethan will have a supply of Psychostimulants. A video tip on this crafting system is also available here.

Order of Priority

Players will start the game with little or almost no weapon to defend themselves. It's recommended to start crafting First Aid meds first then proceed with making ammo. The first two are necessary to survive in the game. Players can choose between Burner Fuel and Psychostimulants after they have ample supply of the first two.

Strong Chem Fluids Crafting

Crafting recipes using Strong Chem Fluid is much more difficult due to their scarcity. The recipe is almost the same with the ordinary Chem Fluid. This time though players can create the Enhanced Handgun Ammo and strong First Aid Meds. Mix the Solid Fuel and players will get flame Rounds. This time adding Supplements with the strong kind will produce Neuro Rounds.

If players find themselves constantly in need of healing, then they should concentrate in creating the Strong First Aid. Otherwise, prioritize in crafting the Strong rounds. Players though who managed to unlocked the Infinite Ammo feature may no longer need to create their own. A guide on how get this special mode is also currently available.
