Injustice 2 Next Character Release Schedule Revealed

Injustice 2's release is just around the corner and NetherRealm Studios continues to reveal additional information about the upcoming game. Previously, the studio remained true to their words revealing new characters that are set to arrive to the game's official roster. Apparently, it looks like NetherRealm Studios is not yet done revealing additional characters, as they have used Activision's official website to announce the release date of the next Injustice 2 character reveal.

According to the report from Game Rant, the company has posted similar graphic to the site which is scheduled for tomorrow, Feb. 7, 2017. The new character reveal is either a hero or a villain. Meanwhile, the report mentions that NetherRealm Studios has not provided any additional hints regarding what the next character looks like. If that's the case, it is expected that the revelation will come in a form of either a gameplay trailer or cinematic teaser.

On the other hand, creative director of NetherRealm Studios, Ed Boon, recently announced to his Twitter account that they are on the process of sending out lots of additional beta invites for the game's continuing trial. For the record, this will be the third batch of access codes that the company has sent out for the upcoming game. However, Ed Boon stated that not all fans will receive an access to the game's beta before its official launch later this year.

Furthermore, the roster size of Injustice 2 is excellent and the quality of the cast is outstanding, with NetherRealm Studios offering a near-equal balance of both heroes and villains as of the moment. Overall, the identity of the next character remains a mystery and fans still continue to guess which of the characters from DC will debut in the game. Meanwhile, Ed Boon also confirmed that they are taking into consideration regarding the addition of several characters outside the DC Universe. Injustice 2 is set to arrive on May 16, 2017 for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
