Moviegoers eager to see the upcoming Iron Man 3 can whet their appetite with newly released six minutes of behind-the-scenes footage form the film.
The footage, released by Marvel, won't spoil anything in Iron Man 3, but gives you a good sense of the amount of action in the film, along with just how much painstaking work had to be put in by the cast and crew in order to make the film become a reality.
Highlights include Robert Downey Jr. playing with the different Iron Man suits, along with the revelation that he will be performing some of his own stunts. Another key feature in the Iron Man 3 preview is that Tony Stark spends a lot of time bonding with a young child (Ty Simpkins). You can watch the video below.
Another clip from Iron Man 3, released a couple of weeks back, featured Tony Stark making a particularly reckless move, calling out the Mandarin in a televised broadcast. As we've seen from the trailers, the Mandarin gladly accepts the invitation.
Viewers at the Disney Consumer Show in Mexico who were watching Iron Man 3 footage were also treated to a trailer of Thor 2 (Thor: The Dark World). A description of the trailer has since leaked and, from what we can tell, that movie looks pretty sweet.
Iron Man 3 opens on May 3. Cast members include Robert Downy Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Stephanie Szostak, Rebecca Hall, Guy Pearce, Jon Favreau, James Badge Dale and Ben Kingsley. The film is directed by Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang).
