The biggest update has finally arrived to Ark: Survival Evolved -- the TEK Tier, that is. It brought a couple of new features and stuff, all making the game a little bit more interesting than it was before. But hey, developer Studio Wildcard isn't done yet. That's because a new patch and feature are expected to arrive this month. And guess what? It's going to be on Feb. 14, Valentine's Day.
According to PlayStationLifeStyle, the next update for Ark: Survival Evolved is set to be unleashed on Heart's Day. It's worth noting, though, that it's only meant for players who own Sony's PlayStation 4. As of this writing, the studio has yet to reveal any core information about the update's arrival. Nonetheless, the video game company has given the community a look-see at it.
Basically, the forthcoming Ark: Survival Evolved update will bring all contents equivalent to those of the PC. This already covers the functionality that can be seen in v254.x. Per-Pixel Painting on Canvass, Dinosaurs and Survivors, among others, is also to be expected. Moreover, two mega updates are coming -- namely, TheCenter Mega Update and Primitive+Mega Update.
As promised, Studio Wildcard will also be introducing a new "Super-Secret" feature to Ark: Survival Evolved. As for those who are wondering about the possibility of a third-person functionality, they're in for a huge treat. The video game company's co-founder Jeremy Stieglitz iterated that they're bringing such feature to the game via the upcoming update.
In related news, the ongoing rumor about Ark: Survival Evolved being added to Nintendo Switch has finally been cleared. The studio itself admits considering the possibility. However, it significantly depends on the market success of the aforesaid console. Simply put, if the system proves to be a crowd favorite, then there's a higher chance of adding the title.
For now, Ark: Survival Evolved remains to be an unfinished game. Many players are still left wondering when its full version will be released. Regardless, its popularity in the market is quite commendable. Over hundreds of thousands of players are reportedly playing the title.
