'Dance Moms' Season 8 Likely Happening; Abby Lee Miller And Other Regulars To Be Replaced?

Lifetime's "Dance Moms" is apparently returning for a new season despite the numerous rumors that season 7 will be the show's finale. An executive of the show recently hinted on the show's renewal, but it has not cleared up yet the latest talks on Abby Lee Miller's departure. The ALDC dance coach is set to face her court sentencing, which many viewers believe will send her to prison.

"Dance Moms" have been previously plagued by countless cancellation rumors. This follows Miller's fraud cases which reports claim might require her to pay fees and spend some years in prison. "Dance Moms" executive Bryan Stinson has however hinted through his Twitter account the possibility of season 8 whose production might begin on Feb. 11. Unfortunately, details on Miller's involvement on the show were not revealed. This basically gave Miller the impression that the show is moving on with a new season without her knowledge. Miller then speculated that the producers went behind her back again which she said might be their way to tell her that she is no longer a part of "Dance Moms" season 8.

Reports say that while Miller is complaining about her possible firing from the show, the coach might not be able to shoot for season 8 anyway once she serves her time in prison. Miller is about to attend her second sentencing on Feb. 24, where the coach's party will get their chance to plea for probation instead of prison time. It was recently reported though that Greg Meluccini is pushing for Miller's imprisonment, making her chances at the "Dance Moms" season 8 slimmer. The dance coach has been indicted on 20 counts of fraud and currency violation last year. As she pleads guilty of the crimes, it was expected that Miller serves two and a half years in prison.

Meanwhile, the Junior Elite dancers Kalani Hilliker and Kendall Vertes are yet to confirm their participation on the show's upcoming season. Talks also have it that the former is at the risk of getting replaced. Fans are also expecting to see more of Chloe Lukasiak who has recently confirmed her appearance on "Dance Moms" season 7.
