CW's "The Vampire Diaries" season eight is getting closer to its much awaited series finale that will air on March. Thus, despite the show coming to an end, there are still many events and surprises to look forward to; including the comeback of some of its major characters in the past seasons.
Some Major Characters Of Previous Seasons Coming Back For The Finale Of "The Vampire Diaries"
It cannot be denied that many of the characters of "The Vampire Diaries" have died or have left Mystic Falls as the series progressed for about eight years. Now that they are on their eighth and final season, some of these characters are happily coming back with the actors and the actresses portraying the roles confirming such information. One of which is the return of the most loved actresses on the show, Nina Dobrev who played the main protagonist of the show since the first season. She played multiple doppleganger roles throughout her run in the series and she has been praised with all of her portrayals. Now, she has returned to the series to close her characters' chapter in the story for the series finale.
It has been confirmed that Jeremy Gilbert (Steven McQueen) is coming back for the series finale of "The Vampire Diaries" as well. This was made real when the actor posted a photo of him on his Instagram account while being on set of "The Vampire Diaries," showing the sign of Mystic Falls just right behind him. It definitely looks like the series finale of the show will be one of the most anticipated moments of the fans who have been following the show for about eight years now. Another character said to return is Tyler Lockwood, played by actor Michael Trevino.
Enzo Still Going To Appear For The Finale Despite Death In Previous Episode
The last episode of "The Vampire Diaries" season eight featured one of the most painful deaths of the show, Enzo dying in Bonnie's arms. He is currently the love of Bonnie's life and after he chose to be human when Bonnie declined his offer to turn her into a vampire, Stefan ripped off his heart without any hesitation as his humanity was off. Nevertheless, the show writers assured the fans that it won't be the last they will see of Enzo as he will still appear on the finale to be aired on March 10, 2017.
