Paladins OB43 Datamining Reveals Another Champion Called A Lawman Prototype

Hi-Rez Studios announced the brand new Open Beta 43 earlier this week and yesterday, it officially arrived in the Live Server of the game. Apparently, the patch was first uploaded to the Public Test Server where players were given access to the update before it was officially released. As a result, some data miners explored the updated set of game codes and discovered several new information.

According to the Smite Datamining Website, there are several new additions to the Paladins game code after the OB43 patch. One of these is the possible arrival of yet another champion. The new champion is called a Lawman Prototype. Similar to the previously reported Barrier Tank, Lawman also does not have a name yet.

Meanwhile, the datamined information highlights Lawman's primary weapon and abilities. Lawman has dual pistols as primary, while the first ability is known as MarkShot. It was described to mark a target and can even auto aim. In addition, the mark will last for 3.5 seconds which all of the weapon shots will hit the target automatically.

The next ability is called Vengeance. The last player the player kills will be marked. While activating it, Q selects a new player to be marked randomly. If that player has reached a 5 kill streak or more, the player can sense them within 60ft or even through line of sight.

Lawman's third ability is called Combat Slide. Upon activation, a quick forward slide will be performed. Lastly, the last ability is called TheLaw. This ability will hit all of the targets in the direction the gamer is facing.

Aside from the Lawman Prototype, the Barrier Tank Prototype remains on the code. Furthermore, there are also several updated images found in the Open Beta 43 patch. Meanwhile, the previously leaked Talent Cards are now added with new ones including three unknown Talent Cards which are suspected to be owned by either of the two known champion prototypes. However, nothing is confirmed at the moment.
