Bandai Namco has shared a seven-minute gameplay clip of the upcoming horror-adventure game, "Little Nightmares." The video showcases the title's eerie setting and various puzzles and disturbing enemies that the player will encounter.
Escape the Horror Using Only Wits and a Lighter
According to Niche Gamer, players can get a glimpse into the disturbing world of the upcoming horror video game by watching some newly released gameplay. The lengthy clip gives players a good idea of what to expect as the protagonist shuffles through the dark while solving puzzles and avoiding enemies. Furthermore, this unconventional horror game seems to rely heavily on atmospheric elements to provide a frightening experience.
One specific scene shows the protagonist lugging a suitcase near a bookshelf to activate a switch. Another part in the trailer shows the yellow-hooded character throwing a toy monkey to press a button perched high on the wall. Lastly, one scene shows a distorted half-human creature chasing the protagonist across the room.
PC Gamer reports that players take up the role of Six who must navigate through the shadows with only just a lighter. There are plenty of hazards to avoid like getting stuffed into a gutted fish, getting assaulted by snake-like creatures or even falling from heights. Each room provides a different threat for Six and she must use nothing but her wits to make it out of the horror-filled house alive.
