In just a few days, Halo Wars 2 will be available for Xbox One and PC. The game will have different features in order to adapt to the system of the two platforms. 343 Industries is positive that the game will be more exciting than before.
This is the first Halo Wars installment that will be available for PC. A lot of players are overjoyed because they can now play using mouse and keyboard. 343 Industries did a good job bringing Halo Wars 2 to a new console.
Next, the players need to know that cross-play is not accessible in Halo Wars 2. The reason why the feature is not allowed is because of engine reasons. But there is still a possibility that competition between XB1 users and PC users might happen in the future.
Halo Wars 2 will have 13 different campaign missions. According to Gaming Bolt, there are three missions about rescuing Alice-130 and a mission in fighting back against Decimus. But 343 Industries has not yet revealed the other missions that will be present in the game.
The multiplayer campaign in Halo Wars 2 is the most exciting feature in the game. As per Stevivor, the players need to cooperate and to communicate with one another to ensure victory. But in PC platforms, the in-game chat is not allowed.
The players can use the Prometheans in different multiplayer modes in the game. However, the faction will not be playable in campaign mode. The players have to settle with the faction being unavailable in some options in Halo Wars 2.
There are different multiplayer modes offered in Halo Wars 2. 343 Industries added Stronghold and Blitz. The former is about capturing the flag wherein the players will be able to get an unlimited amount of resources. The latter is a mode wherein cards are involved just like in the beta game.
But if the players are wondering if Blitz mode will have shooting, then the answer is yes. The player can team up with a friend in attacking the AI opponents and this is called Firefight. They must use their cards wisely when engaged in the new mode.
Halo Wars 2 is not entirely supporting co-op but some of the modes such as Blitz, Skirmish, and Campaign will have co-op support. This means that the players can interact with one another in order to have a successful mission.
There might be six leaders in Halo Wars 2. 343 Industries confirmed that Captain Cutter and Atriox will be the two leaders. The players are still waiting if Decimus, Professor Anders, Isabel, and Shipmaster will be considered as leaders.
Lastly, 343 Industries included microtransactions in the game. Though some are wondering how the feature will work because of Blitz mode. The developer is aiming for the players not needing to pay in order to win the game.
A lot of the players are excited to finally have Halo Wars 2 because of the recent beta game. 343 Industries is making sure that the game will not only be flawless but interesting compared to other Halo Wars installments.
