Just last month, Motorola started to send out invites for its Mobile World Congress press. Though the company did not specify what they will be presenting, tech fans had a vague idea that it could be the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus, thanks to the bits and pieces of leaks provided but sources. Now, a new leak has emerged, and this time it is a photo of what could be the Moto G5 Plus.
The Leaked Photo
As per BGR, the leaked photo comes from Dan Cautella in Brazil. Aside from showing what the phone itself, it also showed a few specifications imprinted on the plastic protecting the screen.
The Specs And Features
For the display, it says that that the Moto G5 Plus comes with a Full HD 5.2-inch screen. Also on its display, there is a physical home button.
For the platform, the device packs a 2.0 GHz octa-core processor along with the staple Motorola Experiences, which is assumed to come with Moto Voice, Moto Action, Moto Assist and Moto Display. Sadly, there was no mention as to what OS it will be running.
For the camera, the device is said to feature a 12 MP camera with rapid focus. Aside from that, there was no mention as to what MP will its front camera will have or the video recording.
For the battery, the device is said to be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. It is also expected to have the TurboPower, which is a fast charging feature. Among other features of the device, it was listed on its specification that it has a Fingerprint scanner and NFC support.
Is It Legit?
There is no way to tell if the image is legit or not, but it does rather look very convincing. Well, at least the good news is that tech fans won't have to wait for so long to find out if its real or fake, because the Mobile World Congress event is scheduled for Feb. 26.
