Alice To Zoukoru' Adventure Will Flourish In April

'Alice To Zoukoru' is an upcoming anime adaptation based on the fantasy manga by Tetsuya Imai. The story is about a magical girl who befriend a grouchy flower shop owner. In Alice to Zouroku, children were abducted to be test subjects in a laboratory experiment. The experiment aims to create children that could make wishes come true.

Young Girl Named Sana

A young girl named Sana has the power to use her imagination and change reality. Her power is called "Alice's Dream." Sana managed to escape the cruel laboratory and found an old flower shop owner. The flower shop owner was too grouchy but Sana managed to befriend him. Eventually, Zouroku Kashimura, the grouchy flower shop owner learned about Sana’s power and try to help her learn how to use her ability responsibly.

‘Alice To Zoukoru' story goes like this. A group of girls has the mysterious ability to alter reality with their imagination. They are locked away and being experimented upon. Until one day one of the girls managed to escape. Her name is Sana her ability is powerful that it could disregard the law of physics. However, When fate led her to meet the grumpy old man named Zouroku, his peaceful life was never the same.

The Staff And Cast

According to the Crunchyroll, ‘Alice To Zoukoru' is the original creation of Tetsuya Imai, it was serialized in Tokuma Shoten's Monthly Comic Ryū. The director would be Katsushi Sakurabi. The one in charge with the series composition is Fumihiko Takayama. The characters were designed by Kazunori Iwakura. Finally the animation production is J.C. Staff. The lead role Sana Kashimura is voiced by Hitomi Ōwada. And the voice behind the grumpy old man Zouroku Kashimura is Akio Ōtsuka.

According to Anime News Network, Imai launched the ‘Alice To Zoukoru' manga in the December 2012 issue of Tokuma Shoten's Monthly Comic Ryū magazine. The ‘Alice To Zoukoru' manga won the New Face Award at the 17th Japan Media Arts Festival Awards in 2013. The ‘Alice To Zoukoru' anime will premiere in April on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and BS11.
