Street Fighter 5 Update: Capcom Introduces Kolin To The Roster

Capcom declared yesterday that it would offer Street Fighter 5 fans something that they can look forward to by setting a schedule for a new character reveal within the day. However, the publisher and developer did not offer any hints as to who will be added to the roster.

Since this is what will happen, Capcom made its promise and confirmed that Kolin will be officially added into Street Fighter 5. As what can be seen in the trailer that was released into its official YouTube channel, Capcom has made it clear that they will be adding the new character to the fifth installment in the fighting game franchise on Feb. 28.

In addition, the studio also gave a good assurance that they will be promoting rapper Lupe Fiasco's new song It's Not Design from his upcoming album Drogas Light by adding this in the reveal trailer of Kolin, according to Capcom. For those who are not yet aware of Kolin's history within the Street Fighter franchise, this English-speaking Russian brawler debuted in the Street Fighter 3 by working for Gill as his dedicated assistant.

According to the description of Campcom for her backstory, abilities, and traits, Kolin works behind the scenes so that she can fulfill the Prophecy Miraha and would halt anyone who will dare to stand in Gill's path. Kolin is composed and collected, but she can instantly fly into rage especially when someone will threaten Gill and his plans. She will be resurrecting Nash and will use him as a pawn, thus exhibiting her ability to do anything in order to achieve her plans, according to Game Rant.

The trailer also shows that Kolin can do anything within her atmosphere to utilize the power of ice, which allows her to use frigid projectile blasts which can produce deadly icicles. She can also manage to control her own hand-to-hand combat by using her skill in the Russian martial art known as Systema that is essentially rooted in the practice of using her opponents' momentum.
