The Samsung Galaxy S4 is almost here and pricing and availability varies among US carriers. Here's what was announced so far for Samsung's upcoming flagship smartphone:
AT&T: Pre-ordering is available now, the Galaxy S4 will be available in stores on April 27 for $199.99 with a two-year contract. AT&T said it is shipping the smartphones sooner than expected and some customers may have the phone in their hands as soon as April 25.
Sprint: Pre-ordering is available now for $249.99 with a two-year contract and the Galaxy S4 is expected to hit stores on April 27. As an incentive, Sprint is offering new customers a $100 credit if you leave your current carrier and port your number over, under the Sprint spring promotion deal. When you switch carriers, you can own a Galaxy S4 for $149.99.
T-Mobile: Pre-ordering starts April 24 and the Galaxy S4 is expected to be in stores on May 1. The price is $149.99 down with monthly device payments of $20 per month for 24 months under a new plan called the Simple Choice Plan. "By combining our bold, Un-carrier moves - no restrictions, no limits and an unbeatable value - with Samsung's leading-edge technology, you're going to get the most from your Samsung Galaxy S 4 at T-Mobile - hands down," John Legere, president and CEO, T-Mobile USA said in a statement.
US Cellular: Pre-ordering is currently available and the release date is toward the end of April with a contract price of $200.
Verizon: The largest U.S. wireless tweeted that the Galaxy S4 will arrive on its network in May and the official price and actual release date are unknown at this time. For more information, customers can check out Verizon's Samsung Galaxy S4 information sign-up page.
