Verizon is now offering some new perks for all customers on its Total Mobile Protection insurance plans. The option on the plan is to get the broken or cracked phone screens replaced for a $79 deductible. This offer depends on where in Verizon’s coverage area you are at. Also, the service could be finish in just one day, with the advantage to immediately replacing the screen in store or even have a professional technician come out to your home to fix your smartphone without ever leaving the comfort of your house.
Verizon Fixes Your Cracked Apple iPhone Screen
As reported by Fortune, seeing that almost all smartphone users are struggling with their smartphones' cracked screen, Verizon is promising to do something about it, but for a price. On Thursday, the carrier introduced a same-day repair feature for all Apple iPhones with cracked screens. The amount of $79 service fee will be available only to those under the Verizon's equipment protection insurance plans. The said plan starts at $11 per month for any Verizon's smartphones.
The new Verizon's offer of same-day repair will be available via home visits or at any 220 locations in the 34 states as well as in Washington, D.C. There are improvements for the Verizon's Total Mobile Protection this year 2017, according to the American company. It covers up to 3 lines on the same account and shares 9 claims (up from 6) all lines are eligible for unlimited support from Tech Coach.
Even with these additions, the cost of Total Mobile Protection remains $11 per month for a smartphone, $9 for basic phone or tablet.
