"Wentworth" season 5 might feature the death of Joan Ferguson, also known as "The Freak." Meanwhile, its real goodbye Bea Smith as "Wentworth" executive producer confirmed she was indeed killed in the stabbing. However, her death might bring in some new characters in the show. Among the rumored new cast is Aussie actor, Liam Hemsworth.

There is no official confirmation of Liam's casting yet but a report from International Business Times revealed that the series might cast Liam as a tough prison warden in the upcoming season. This will surely bring more popularity to the show with Liam's huge fan base. Liam is known for his television roles as Josh Taylor in "Neighbours" and Marcus in "The Elephant Princess." He is also famous for movies including "The Hunger Games" series and "The Last Song."

Meanwhile, actress Pamela Rabe hinted her character might die in "Wentworth" season 5. After killing Bea (Danielle Cormack) by stabbing her multiple times in "Wentworth" season 4, some people might seek retribution and kill Joan. Allie Novak (Kate Jenkinson), for one, has the best motive to kill her for killing her lesbian lover. Jodie Spiteri (Pia Miranda) also has a lot of hate pent up hate for Joan ever since she drove her to self-harm in season 3.

As for fans hoping to see Bea alive in "Wentworth" season 5. Bad news but there's no chance that she's still alive after the brutal stabbing. There are speculations that Bea might still be alive because there was no coffin or funeral shown in the series and there are theories she might still be unconscious in the hospital.

A report revealed that "Wentworth" EP Jo Porter herself said that Bea's death was necessary so the series can shift to new potential characters and stories. However, Bea might still be featured in the series using flashback scenes. "Wentworth" season 5 is scheduled to air sometime in 2017.
