To update your T-Mobile HTC One S, make sure you are connected to a Wi-Fi network and make sure your battery charge level is over 50 percent. Go into settings, About, Software updates, and tap check now. You'll get a message that there is a system update. Tap OK and your HTC One S will begin downloading the update and install it; the whole process should take between 10 - 20 minutes. Your One S will reboot and you'll finally get to experience all of the benefits Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean has to offer.

Two of the best features of Jelly Bean are:

Project Butter makes the Android Jelly Bean much quicker and more responsive. Apps open up fast and the whole UI feels buttery smooth.

Google Now is Google's answer to Siri, but with much more functionality. You can ask Google Now questions in the same manner that iOS users ask Siri. Google Now runs circles around Siri in obtaining answers and overall functionality. Google added Cards to Google Now that allows you to see relevant information without ever having to ask. The cards are populated automatically and will provide you with weather forecasts, how long your commute to work is going to be, upcoming events and more.

Those are only two of the features; there are tons of other features and enhancements throughout the OS.
