‘The Walking Dead' Season 7B: Spoilers On What Might Happen; Will The Show Bounce Back?

“The Walking Dead” Season 7 has just returned with the second half of the season after taking a break that lasted two months. Fans are hyped to see what else is in store for them in the next episodes of the current season especially after the first set of episodes left them hanging. Aside from that fans are hoping that the new episodes will be better.

“The Walking Dead” Season 7 returns with a new episode, the ninth one in this installment, which has been titled “Rock in the Road” and is set to air on Feb. 12. The premiere of the midseason episode teases that the main characters will finally be rising up to kick some ass and go against the Saviors especially after being beaten down in the early episodes of Season 7. The synopsis for the second half of the season has given away some spoilers, which included an implication that everyone will become a suspect because there will be treachery from the people trusted.

Some have reported that fans should prepare for the demise of Sasha Williams since she will most likely be off the show sooner than expected. Though AMC has stated that Sonequa Martin-Green, the actress who portrays Sasha, is still a mainstay, the said actress landed the lead role in another production and plans will most likely change. But of course, the show has already hinted that there will be new characters introduced as well since the synopsis stated that they will meet new survivors in incredible places.

The second half of “The Walking Dead” Season 7 will mainly show the war between the Saviors and practically everybody else, which promises to be the greatest showdown ever seen in the show since Terminus. Hopefully, this turn of events will help the show bounce back since “The Walking Dead” has been experiencing a drop in ratings and handful of outraged fans. Even if the said show still holds the top spot even after a sudden drop in ratings, its latest season was dubbed as the most disappointing run ever.

“The Walking Dead” made its mistake when it dragged on the story in Season 3 but they were able to make amends for that and the show bounced back. Now, the show is heading once again to a similar path and fans are hoping that the mistake won’t be repeated. There are five more episodes remaining in “The Walking Dead” Season 7 whereas the last and 13th episode will be aired on March 12.
