Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Update: A Possible Arrival Of Universe Survival Arc

For the fans, the latest Universe Survival arc from the Dragon Ball series has been a fairly interesting one despite having only two episodes. Apparently, with heavy stakes and new interesting characters making an appearance, this could be the best arc of the series as of now. As a result, several fans expressed their desire to see some of the new characters arriving as playable fighters in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC.

According to a report from The Bitbag, it might not be possible as of the moment since the DLC that is based on the Universe 6 has not been released yet. In addition, the DLC based on the Black Goku arc, though it has been confirmed, still remains unavailable. Meanwhile, there are two more additional expansion packs that are arriving at Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

On the other hand, there are several potential new characters from the Universe Survival arc that will make an appearance in the game. One of them is a female fighter that turns into a Broly-esque Super Saiyan, while the other character still remains anonymous. Based on the report, the series' new opening theme only shows a fighter having an alien-like appearance. In addition, Frost and Cabba were also seen, however, they are already added to the game's roster as the first two DLC characters.

Similar to the previous updates, new variants for the characters might be added - potentially, a new variation for Gohan, Android 17 or Tien since they will be playing a part in the new arc. Meanwhile, Bandai Namco can always make an expansion pack if they can't force the Universe Survival arc in the game's season pass. Apparently, it worked perfectly for Ultimate Ninja Storm 4's Road to Boruto DLC.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Meanwhile, the game's season pass costs $29.99 which comes with Cabba and Frost.
