Samsung started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat software update to Galaxy S7 and S7 edge phones on last January 17, and the company has just unveiled the list of phones that will be treated to Nougat updates in the coming weeks. Android N, now called Android Nougat, is available right now for Nexus devices, Pixel devices and selected phones from Android manufacturers. The Galaxy Nougat release has started for some devices and we expect that Samsung's Android Nougat roll out to pick up steam as we push deeper into 2017. Below are the list of phones to receive Google's latest treat.
List Of Samsung Smartphones To Received Android Nougat
Samsung posted a list of phones that will receive updates to Android 7.0 Nougat during the first half of this year. Therefore, it will be until June 2017. We expect to see Nougat on the following handsets: Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge Plus, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Tab A with S Pen, Galaxy S2 (LTE unlock), Galaxy A3, and also Galaxy A8.

Samsung company will supposedly roll out Nougat to other devices after the software update reaches the models mentioned in the list. The date when Galaxy S6 phones will receive Nougat is unclear at this point, however, since it already rolled out to the Galaxy S7, it shouldn't be that long to wait.
