Popular star, 32-Year-Old, Scarlett Johansson had an interview for "Playboy" magazine's March/April 2017 issue and gave a compelling statement about marriage and monogamy.
It Is "Not Natural" To Be A Monogamous Person
According to Scarlett, being married, and staying married requires numerous amounts of effort and work. "I don't think it's natural to be a monogamous person. I might be skewered for that, but I think it's work. It's a lot of work." Scarlett stated. She also added that the mere fact people had to put a lot of their time and energy in staying married only means it is not inherent.
Being Married Is Different From Not Being Married
During the interview, the 32-year-old stated that she have strong faith and belief in getting married. As per Johansson, she used to ask her friends who have been together for 10 years or more pertaining to their viewpoint on marriage and they would always say that being married is always different.
She also talked about her marriage with then husband, Romain Dauriac and stated that their bond was actually very different as compared to her marriage with Ryan Reynolds. According to Scarjo, having a child and being married to a man from a different country is very dissimilar.
Motherhood Had Refined Scarlett
According to Johansson, bearing a child and giving birth is very intense. Profound. She also stated that being a mother changed her a lot for she knows that she would have to consider her child with every single decision she makes. She also has to let go of the fact that she can control any situation she gets into for having a toddler is a totally different story. Scarjo also did admit that she was frightened of the changes she might go through, however, she claimed that she is now more herself than she was before.
