Daisy Ridley looks like she's having a makeover in the upcoming movie "Star Wars: The Last Jedi." This was hinted by recent merchandise item that will be released probably to hype the movie before its launch date. In the box is an image of Rey looking differently from how she appeared in "The Force Awakens."
Rey's Importance In The Previous Episode Was Neglected
In "Star Wars" episode 8, Rey was conspicuously absent from its merchandising items such as toys and other collectibles. Items of less important characters were included in the marketing of the movie. But now, Disney seems to have corrected this problem. And as a result has leaked the new look of Rey in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi."
Hasbro Has Corrected The Problem
Hasbro Inc. has revealed a packaged item for Force Friday II last Thursday. The package unveiled the toys that will hit the stores in September. These toys were inspired by "Star Wars: The Last Jedi." But the package did more than that. It also revealed the new look of Rey, along with Finn and Poe Dameron.
If in "The Force Awakens" Rey was not seen, this time, she is at the center of things. This image printed on the box is now all over the internet. It portrayed Daisy Ridley (Rey) at the middle with Finn on her left and Poe on her right. The box probably holds some merchandise items, such as toys inside.
Rey Looks Like She's Had A Makeover In "Star Wars: The Last Jedi"
It looks like Rey has a new hair top. Instead of her pony tail in the previous episode, she now has her hair gracefully flowing down on her shoulders. And her face looks more determined, menacing even. There's not much change in Finn's appearance, though, but it appears that Poe sports a new pilot's helmet.
Could this mean that Rey will not be the only one that will experience makeover in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi?" If this Hasbro package will be considered, that could be a very likely possibility. Die-hard fans who have been waiting for episode 8 will just have to wait a few more months for the big reveal. Meanwhile, they can feast their eyes in the video below to see what they can expect.
