Galaxy S8, S8 Plus News And Update: UAG Reveals Cases For The Flagship, Leaks More Details

It seems that the excitement for the Samsung Galaxy S8 cannot be contained and is growing by the minute. Now, a company named Urban Armor Gear, which is also known as UAG, has just listed new cases for the upcoming Galaxy S8 smartphones on its official website, along with what supposedly is the real-photo of the upcoming flagship.

According to Android Headlines, the popular case-maker has listed seven cases, specifically four Plasma cases and three Pathfinder cases. The new cases also seem to be quite capable of handling drops, because they are not exactly that thin to begin with.

Do The Cases Reveal Something About Samsung's Flagship Devices?

The Galaxy S8s have not yet been released, let alone unveiled, which is why many tech enthusiasts are curious if there could be some clues with the new cases that UAG has listed on its website. In the photos, the Galaxy S8 sporting the cases feature a front-facing camera, an iris scanner and four other sensor above the display. The Samsung branding is also visible below the screen.

Not only that, similar to the various leaks and renders of the Galaxy S8, the device depicted on the pictures does not seem to have a physical home button either. For its rear design, a fingerprint scanner placed beside the rear camera is present as well and shows an additional physical button on the side. According to Sam Mobile, it is rumored to be a dedicated button for Samsung's upcoming voice assistant, Bixby.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Final Design Or UAG Just Jumping The Gun?

That is the million-dollar question. As of now, there is no real or solid information of what could be the final design of Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, and it would be wise to take everything with a grain of salt until Samsung officially unveils it. A good example was when a picture was leaked that was said to be the bottom design of the Galaxy S8, which turned out to some kind of a "modified earlier Galaxy phone" instead.
