The TV series, based on the best-selling novel by James Patterson, will add Hilary Jardin and Athena Karkanis to make the story more meaningful. The additional characters are all set to affect the life of Jackson portrayed by James Wolk.

According to Movie News Guide, the third installment of the hit series "Zoo" will be more exciting than ever as the show introduces new characters, Abigail and Tessa. Sources revealed that Karkanis would be portraying the role of Abigail.
Abigail is an operative who takes her job seriously. She takes every operation with her heads up which made her very admirable. The character is related to Jackson but how she would affect his life is yet to be revealed.
On the other hand, Jardin would be playing the role of Tessa. The character is the new love interest of Jackson. She would be helping out the refugees by keeping them safe and sound. Reports told that Tessa would be very positive that she'll bring in much help in Jackson's life.
The show is already filming in Vancouver and already teased their fans in social media. The show posted a photo of the set with a caption, "Zoo fans, production has begun on Season 3, coming this summer. What are you looking forward to seeing in the new season?"

On the side note, the upcoming installment would take viewers into the future as the second season ended premiered a fast forward from ten years. Reports told that Isaac is already graduating from grade school while Jamie is already an author.
Moreover, Jackson is still in his highest hopes that he would totally find the cure to fight the hybrid problem. Abe would then meet a Clementine who told him the cure to stop the said hybrid attacks.
